- Primitive folk art carving
of a Heart in Hand Odd Fellows fraternal symbol with worn original
paint. Carved heart is offset to side of palm and has a smaller
heart incised in it. Fingers have carved creases and fingernails.
9 ¼ " tall (excluding base) by 5" wide. Base
is 7 ¼" W x 5 ½" deep x 2" H. Found
in Maryland and believed to be Southern in origin, circa late
19th or very early 20th century. Folk art at its finest. (CJ-25)
