- Ice fish-spearing decoy from
north central US, possibly Michigan. 9" long. Tin fins and
inset lead weight. Slight tail curvature to enhance movement.
Mottled coloration. Initials "RD" carved or stamped
in underside, probably identifying the maker or owner. Most of
the paint on the eye ring is missing, suggesting that it was
used at some point but the body paint and fins show little wear.
