- Finely carved and paint decorated
book form spruce gum box. 6" x 4" x 1 5/8". Some
of the decorations appear to be carved in very low relief and
others inlaid. Decorations include hearts, a cross and a star.
Sliding lid sticks a bit, but otherwise it is in excellent condition.
Specific origin unknown, but most likely Maine or Eastern Canada.
