- Working ice spear fishing
decoy in form of a bass. Appears to be in worn original paint
and have original tin fins and incised gill plates. Body has
slight curvature to enhance action when jigged. Two inset lead
weights in bottom. 8" long. We thought we might be able
to identify the maker or region the decoy came from by the unusual
looped wire line tie, but no luck. Probably north central U.S.
Circa mid 20th century. (CL-3)
