 
- Sheet metal bird of prey,
species unknown. We thought we could identify it, but could not
do so using any of the ornithology texts we have. There are similarities
to the Peregrine Falcon and Night Hawk, but neither bird has
the facial spurs that the subject has. We have concluded that
it may be simply a fantasy bird. Could have been used to frighten
pigeons or other unwanted birds or animals away? Purchased in
Maine. (CS-7)
