- Pair of ice spear fishing
decoys that were part of a Minnesota collection and are believed
to have come from that great spear fishing area. The first is
a northern pike decoy measuring
- 8 ½ " long, and
the second a brook or speckled trout decoy 7 ¾" long.
Both have 2 inset bottom lead weights and slight curvature to
the tail area designed to enhance the jigging action. Circa mid
- 20th century. (pike - CL-12; trout - CL-13).
